Jarrett
W. Mentink, Ph.D.
Jarrett took to writing children's stories while attending graduate school. He received his Ph.D. in Higher Education and began teaching at Seattle Pacific University. Alley the Cat was his first published story, and he has since added four other titles about local Seattle Sports Stars (each book benefits a charitable cause). Jarrett is happily married to his wife, Angie Mentink, who is a television anchor for Fox Sports Net. The couple resides in Sammamish, Washington, with their two young boys, Jaxen and Chase.
